Enjoy a delicious lunch and help us fill prescriptions for the needy. For the 9th year, The Baton Rouge Clinic is happy to partner with WBRZ News 2 Louisiana and the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy in sponsorship of the Fill A Prescription for the Needy annual event, to provide prescription services to those in need.
This event will run throughout the Lenten season, to begin on Monday, February 18th, and continue through Monday, March 18th, 2013.
- February 18: Spaghetti, Salad, Bread & Dessert, $6.00
- March 4: Gumbo, Salad, Bread & Dessert, $6.00
- March 18: Jambalaya, Salad, Bread & Dessert, $6.00
Lunches will be served in front of the Baton Rouge Clinic at 7373 Perkins Road from 10:30am to 1:30pm, or you can contact St. Vincent de Paul (225) 383-7837 to pre-order your lunch.
Now in its 12th year, this volunteer-driven program tremendously improves the quality of life for the elderly, the poor and the homeless who receive and may depend on life-sustaining prescriptions.
The Baton Rouge Clinic, along with other area pharmacies and businesses, will display special collection containers, designed to look like oversized prescription bottles.
