MyChart is an exciting on-line resource for your personal health information that is a special part of EPIC, The Baton Rouge Clinic’s new electronic medical record. Through a secure, password protected portal, patients will be able to access portions of their medical record, including medications lists, current diagnoses, test results and immunization records. There will also be links to valuable, trusted health information customized to your health problems. MyChart will also feature a secure communication portal to your physician and staff, where you can request prescription refills, ask non-emergent medical questions and, in time, request appointments. In time other exciting features will become available as well.
How can you get MyChart? All Baton Rouge Clinic patients will be eligible to sign up for MyChart after our August 7, 2012 installation. At your visit after this date, you will receive an access code and instructions on how to sign up online. We look forward to sharing this innovative feature of our electronic medical record with you and your family!
