Dr. Gay M. Story is a native of New Orleans, La. She attended Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received her medical degree. Dr. Story completed her Internal Medicine Internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas and served on active duty as a physician and officer with the US Army. An Internal Medicine Residency was completed at Ochsner Medical Center-New Orleans. Dr. Story practiced in internal and hospital medicine before moving to Texas where she recently completed an Endocrinology Fellowship through the University of Texas at Galveston. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is board eligible for Endocrinology. Dr. Story joinded the Endocrinology department at the Baton Rouge Clinic on July 8, 2010.
